Rest in Peace Thalia Arredondo and Brenda Gutierrez. On February 24 between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, these two 17 year old girls were hit by an SUV when they lost control of the car on their way to a basketball game in Belvidere Illinois. Neither of them made it. They were the best of friends anybody could imagine. Both of them were cheerleaders for the school. They were both beautiful, inside and out. Everyone at school loved them. Never in my life have I met anybody so enthusiastic about all aspects of life. These two were truly living the teenage dream and they will never be forgotten. We love you with all our hearts Brenda and Thalia. These two teach us all that a life can be taken away just as easily as it can be given. They have shared nothing but good times and high spirits with the world. They have shown us how fragile life can be. Tears are the only thing you will see on peoples faces for the rest of school, for we have lost two angels and heaven has received two. Your memory will go on forever and ever. Rest in peace both of you. We love you.
